Your business is multi-faceted and we believe this should be reflected in your online video presence.  Therefore, at Near Networks we take a programming approach in creating Video Channels that consist of multiple pieces of content about your business.  The micro-documentary is the main piece that anchors your channel and provides an overview of your business. Then we add shorter vignettes that complement the micro-documentary and focus on specific products, services, or features of your business.  Video Channels also give you a great opportunity to add content throughout the year as your business grows and evolves.

A vignette is a 30-45 second video that highlights a specific product, service, feature or deal for your business.  Vignettes appear within your Video Channel and encourage viewers to delve deeper into your business after watching your micro-documentary and share the content with friends.  Vignettes also gives you a fun and affordable way to add to your Video Channel over time as your business grows and evolves.

Once we complete shooting, all footage of your business is brought back to LA where our team of experienced producers and editors get to work crafting a Channel tailor-made for your brand.  You’ll receive a first cut of your videos within 30 days of your shoot for review.  Once you approve your videos, we’ll build your Channel on YouTube and provide you with an easy-to-embed snippet of code that will allow you to share your videos on your website and social media pages.

Once you place your order, you will receive an invoice for 50% of the cost up front, payable at least 3 days prior to the day of the shoot.  The remainder will be due upon distribution of your Channel.  We accept checks and all major credit cards via Paypal.

Absolutely.  Our fly-on-the-wall documentary approach means we’ll leave a minimal footprint in your business during filming.  Our specialty HD cameras are small and unobtrusive, and don’t require additional lights or equipment, and our filmmakers are so talented that they don’t require a large crew to back them up.

Prior to your shoot, a member of the Near Networks production team will work with you to make sure you’re 100% ready and prepared for your shoot.  We craft personalized interview questions in advance that will best reflect your business and goals, and go through a schedule with you in advance.  We make sure that each shoot is easy, quick, and, most importantly, fun, and we do all the heavy lifting so that you can focus on showing off what you do best.

For the interviews, you should select people who know your business well and are able to communicate the passion behind your brand.  We will also work with you to help identify good candidates.  In general, we like to interview 2-3 people, hopefully from different areas of your business.  Don’t worry about on-camera experience, our interview process is painless and extremely conversational – everyone comes out looking great!

No worries!  If you need to reschedule, you’ll have to notify us at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled shoot time and we’ll find a new time that works.

You are more than welcome to shoot at more than one location.  Please discuss this in advance with your Near Networks production team and note that there may be an additional cost to shoot at more than one location.

Absolutely.  Once we have a first cut ready, we’ll create a private online screening room for you to take a look.  You’ll then have the chance to give notes and feedback before we create the final cut for distribution.

Your Video Channel will be hosted on YouTube, making it simple to share across all of your social media platforms.  Once posted, a Near Networks producer will contact you with your specific links and embed codes along with easy instructions on how to share your video on your website, Facebook, Twitter, email newsletters, and anywhere else you appear online.  If you don’t have a YouTube page of your own, we’ll create one for you!  We’ll also provide you with simple instructions on how to link your videos to your Google Places listing so that they appear beside the map of your location on Google search, as well as at the top of Google Video search.

In addition to local business profiles, Near Networks also produces entertaining lifestyle series programming for online publishers, spotlighting exciting locations in categories such as travel, shopping, and dining.  All of our clients have the opportunity to be included in our series programming for no additional cost.

Once your video is ready for distribution, a member of the Near Networks production team will reach out to you with simple step-by-step instructions on how to add your videos to each of your social media pages.  We’ll give you your personalized embed codes so all you have to do is cut and paste!  If you don’t have a Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube page, we’ll also help you create those.  And if you have any trouble at all, our team is always here to help you out so just give us a shout.
